The cost figures are estimates, not quotes
This matters more here than on most websites, because we publish numbers that most of this industry does not.
Every rate, range and figure on this site, including the results produced by the cost estimator and the space planner, is an indicative planning figure. They are published so you can decide quickly whether a tenancy is in the right order of magnitude, and nothing more than that.
They are exclusive of GST and clinical equipment. They do not constitute a quote, an offer, or a contract, and they are not a substitute for a priced scope prepared after a site assessment and a documented design. Your actual cost will depend on your tenancy, its shell condition, your equipment schedule, your approvals pathway and the scope you decide on.
The compliance information is general
The guides on this site describe standards, planning frameworks and licensing requirements in general terms, and they were accurate to the best of our knowledge when written. Standards are revised, planning schemes change and requirements differ between councils and between states.
Nothing here is legal, planning or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice about your specific project from a qualified professional. Do not rely on it as your only source when making a decision about a site, a lease or a build.
The tools
The estimator, space planner and lease checklist run in your browser. We provide them as they are and make no warranty that they will be uninterrupted or error free. The lease checklist stores your progress in your browser's local storage, which you can clear at any time; we cannot read it and we do not receive it.
Intellectual property
The content, layout and design of this site belong to Practice Fitouts unless otherwise stated. You are welcome to read it, print it and share links to it. You may not republish substantial parts of it as your own.
Third party links
Where we link to another site, we do so because it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site or from reliance on information published on it. Nothing in these terms excludes any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
